Hoshi no Deja Vu

To finally round out the Super Dimensional trilogy, the VHT-1 Spartas, the transformable hovertank from the series Super Dimensional Cavalry Southern Cross. This series was adapted into the second "Robotech Masters" arc of the Robotech TV show in North America.

I'm not too keen on this design, I have to say. The robot form isn't too interesting, and the hovertank mode looks basically like a giant flying brick. The GERWALK mode is more visually distinctive, being a gun emplacement on legs.

Also, I had troubles in finding good references for this design. The only good pics of this mode I could find were at low angles from the front; therefore, I have no idea what the top side of the torso looks like. Too bad, because I like this pose. I suppose if I find better references in the future, I might go back and fix this.
