Falchion Dragon

This is a rough design for a species of dragon from my BioSouls universe. The falchion dragon grows solid, sharp-edged plates of metal on its skin that gradually fuse together as it grows older, eventually forming a suit of blade-equipped metal armor - hence the name. (A falchion is an old style of sword; I thought it sounded kind of cool ) It's aggressive and highly territorial, using its blades to attack anything that invades its territory. It's too heavy to fly by flapping its wings, so it uses jet propulsion, shooting hot gases out of vents in its wings to generate lift. It can spit these burning hot gases from its mouth as a weapon, though it doesn't use this often.
