The space monsters are on the move! They're huge organic starships, they travel in fleets of millions, they destroy stars to reproduce... and Earth's sun is right in their path! Our only hope: a gigantic prototype combat robot piloted by a clumsy and unconfident teenage girl.

Of course, this means we're completely safe.

My entry for 's Mary Ann Cosplay Contest. Possibly my first, if I can find time to make another. The contest is to draw his character Mary Ann Tigress dressed up as another character. I chose Noriko Takaya, the main character of Top o Nerae! Gunbuster. And of course, I had to include the Gunbuster itself.

EDIT: My perfectionism wouldn't let me leave this alone. I tried to make the stars stand out a bit more, recropped the image so that Mary Ann was more toward the center, and added her cute fang.
